Message from the President

Representative

Taiki Bussan started its business in 1969, as a trade firm that deals items related with tofu making, including food additives, materials and tools. Since then, in order to meet the needs of our customers in tofu manufacturing industry, we have worked in various fields from procurement proposals along with ingredient / material manufacturing companies to support for the creation of tofu at the manufacturing site.

Tofu is a traditional food in Japan, but the situations of its manufacturing industry, including number of manufacturers, factory scale, soybean, coagulant, manufacturing method, selling method etc., have changed dramatically from when we started the business. Also, the types of products are getting diversified.

Our company history of more than 40 years has been the journey to grow up as a company recognized in tofu manufacturing industry, and it has been made from the supports of our customers and partner companies, as well as our staff who have worked hard together to serve customers. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratefulness to all of those people.

On April 1, 2007, we established the factory in Yashio City, Saitama Prefecture, exclusively for prototype experiments and demonstrations, to enhance our capability of research, development and experiment of new technologies for improvements in our customer support to create new types of tofu. We keep efforts to advance our core value as “to master the expert technologies together with customers.”

Taiki Bussan will continue to contribute toward the business development of our customers, as well as toward the development of food industry. We appreciate your further help and encouragement.

Kenzo Kanai
